We had an amazing holiday and could not have asked for more than the laughter and joy that we received by watching Zaiya meet his big sister for the first time over Christmas! Marc's daughter, Lourdwige was here with us for a week! I don't have all the pics from our week to share because my camera broke and I haven't been able to get the pictures off my memory card from that week. My camera broke ON CHRISTMAS EVE - yes, the EVE of Zaiya's first Christmas... which, was quite the scene and seriously interrupted our present wrapping marathon! I would like to seriously thank my friend Jenni for coming to my rescue and loaning me her camera at midnight that night so that I could record the images that you see here below! :) Whew!!!!
It's a quick update this time - boy is it hard to keep up! These pics are actually in reverse order, too - sorry! Enjoy! We sure are!!!
Snow Snow Snow!
First touch of snow... so precious!
Looking up to Daddy... so sweet!
I think he likes the snow!!
Mr. Playful!
The best gift we got all year...
Love.
Apparently, Zaiya is a basketball star. He couldn't focus on anything but this toy for about 15 minutes... it was crazy!
Yep, that's my child. Walking.
Zaiya loved watching the tree... and pulling down the ornaments!
Zaiya's big present... I had no idea it was going to be such a hit! He LOVED it!
Mr. Cool here...why is he not as excited about this adorable onsie as I was??? I thought Santa was pretty clever!!!
Another present from Santa!
I thought the following series would be hilarious to share b/c Zaiya gave us all a run for our money during the family portrait session! It was great!!!
And my favorites:
All for me???
Can't believe how fast this little guy is growing!!!
HAPPY 11 MONTHS ZAIYA! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
Wow, Life rushes at you! Then past you if you are not careful. Thanks for including us. My jaw is still hanging open. Nope, I really really can't believe the little guy is walking!!??
ReplyDeleteThey grow so fast. People say that all the time, but you don't know the truth of it until it happens to you. I hope that some day we're able to meet him, he seems such a joyful spirit.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures! All of them! What a gift our little Zaiya is!! Love you a ton.
